I caught this LTE this morning in the paper, and thought I’d point it out regarding the hard work our Congresswoman is doing in Washington. From the Argus Leader:
Letter: Noem hard at work to save hatchery
David J. Nickel, Spearfishand…
This Argus Leader reader wants to thank Noem for her efforts to save the Booth Hatchery and its archives. D.C. Booth is a major part of our state’s tourist economy and a major part of sport fishing in South Dakota. I’m glad that Congresswoman Noem is working hard in Washington to save the hatchery for South Dakota families of today and in the future.
Thats not a Republican Party regular. Just a real person appreciating what our Congresswoman does in DC.
I’m all for saving the Spearfish hatchery because I loved going there as a child but aren’t we hugely in debt as a nation?
Yes! All the more reason to appreciate Kristi Noem! Thanks Kristi!
government exists to do things the private sector can’t undertake to do. having a sport fishing industry dependent on the vaguaries and perogatives of a private ownership isn’t in anyone’s interest. south dakota has always been a receiver state, in terms of highway tax dollars and other things, we get back more than we send away. the state’s sport fishing industry then, is something of a national treasure. it’s right to have federal support, since a huge debt isn’t stopping them from wasting billions on some other things which really are a waste.
I’m surprised Cabela’s and Bass Pro Shops can’t come together and fund it.
Oh Kristi you’re so fine
You’re so fine you blow my mind
Hey Kristi, hey Kristi
Oh Kristi you’re so fine
You’re so fine you blow my mind
Hey Kristi, hey Kristi
Oh Kristi what a pity you don’t understand
Etc, etc, etc
