Many of us have examined the evidence, and we’re not convinced the Congressional Republicans have even lifted a finger on efforts to make us strong, safe and more secure. You’ve made Donald Trump immune from oversight and criminal investigation; he has destroyed our alliances and standing in the world; the jenga-tower that is our complex economy is riddled with holes and swaying and twisting slowly to collapse once our gas and oil reserves are fully used up, thanks to the Iran war which we lost. Republicans have only a very few chances left to take action to turn any of this around rather than keep putting out press releases like this and pretend we’re the envy of the world. The world is calling us something else if you care to actually listen.
