Thune on DHS Funding: Time Is of the Essence

So far we haven’t seen any leadership from Thune. ICE needs some serious guardrails and Thune seems unwilling to deal wit. If he continues to stonewall, everyone suffers.
So far the Democrats see their Republican friends keeping their heads in the sand and pretending ICE is only looking for a limited number of criminal illegal aliens to detain, and not widely ruining everyone’s lives just to meet Stephen Miller’s ridiculous detainment quotas. Do better Thune. Really BE BEST on this topic.
Thune has only two paths: join with Dems and re-empower Congress to press the people’s desire to end this mess, OR keep doing nothing and remain a passive accomplice.

If it costs a penny for the average citizen, it’s nothing more than a glorified, disgusting poll tax.
You’re talking about that voter id change which will end up shaking a lot of women off the voter rolls, creating problems to get back on them. Or was there another voter id bill?
