Increasing private health care premiums since hospitals must charge them to pay for the “free loaders” that come to the ER’s. Crack open a history book and read up about the Iran-Contra affair. There was a lot of meddling with Chase bank, and the Regan campaign. Alot of shady crap went down, and to say Carter aborted the mission is just silly.

We don’t have the rare earth elements (Scandium, Neodymium, Praseodymium, etc.) needed for complex electronics, lasers, magnets, etc. Without that we don’t have computers, cell phones, new aircraft, modern cars, etc.
We don’t have the Oil reserves to last us more then 20-30 years at current consumption levels, even if we expand production. All gas and fuel will be reserved for heating, trucking, farming, and the military – and we won’t be able to make new electric vehicles, because we won’t have the materials for batteries.
We don’t have easy to access or cheap sources of Copper, Zinc, or Aluminum and we don’t have any sources of Graphite, Manganese, or Arsenic. So new modern industrial equipment can’t be made.
We won’t have the materials to fix failing electrical grid infrastructure without doing a complete rip and replace.
That’s to say nothing about the fact that we don’t have the climate to produce Rubber, Coffee, or Cocoa beans (or multiple other things that people are used to). During the winter those of us in South Dakota will find ourselves eating like 18th century Russian peasants.
Yes, we COULD live with what we produce in the US, but we’d have to go back to living like we did 100+ years ago. No phones, no lights, no motor cars…not a single luxury.

While Senator Thune is right about the positive aspects of the proposed permitting reform bill, the SD PUC remains concerned about language being pushed by some Democratic Senators which would move aspects of electric transmission line permitting from the PUC to the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. We think it is wrong to make SD landowners argue their case in Washinton DC in front of a federal agency instead of their elected PUC commissioners. We have asked Senators Thune and Rounds to reject this attempt to expand federal jurisdiction in this area of the permitting bill.
Glad he’s working on something useful. Since he has spend most of this term earning the loving gaze of DJT.
We should sell all US based assets now so this one generation (many say the last before Jesus comes back) can prosper. There is no future, we need to just say YES to this and move forward.
In Ezekiel 36, God says to Israel, “I will take you from the nations and gather you from all the countries and bring you into your own land… You shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers…”
In Matthew 24, Christ says, “And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.”
So according to the Bible, Christ won’t come back until Israel is regathered into its ancestral homeland and Christ’s gospel is proclaimed to all nations.
You forgot a couple of things, like seven years of tribulation, the pouring out of bowl and horn judgements, the four horsemen of the apocalypse, the dragon and the whore of Babylon, the revived Roman Empire with feet of clay, the Antichrist who stands in the holiest place and proclaims himself king of kings, the clash of global armies at the valley near Meggido … but, yeah ok.
I didn’t forget those things, but I didn’t want to trigger any arguments about what they symbolize or which of them are still in the future, so I stuck to prophecies that are more explicit.
aaaaaand soft-sold a brutal flaming bloody event relatively few of us are expected to survive. Ok.
The Bible predicts enormous losses of human life before Christ comes back, but it doesn’t say exactly how many of us are going to survive. It doesn’t even say the items on your list are all part of a single event, and I didn’t soft-sell anything.
