WASHINGTON — U.S. Senate Majority Leader John Thune (R-S.D.) today delivered the following remarks on the Senate floor.
Liar Liar pants on fire!
List the lies Einstein, I dare you.
Ten seconds in he says that Democrats did this and that it’s done to appease their base. No mention of the tens of thousands of South Dakotans that will see their healthcare costs more than double.
Trump himself even said that any shutdown is the fault of the Presidents. But when they do it it’s different huh?
Not exactly what he said. Google or do a fact check on the meme that’s going ’round. Untrue.
So where is the lie?
Trump scrambled the congressional leaders’ messaging Monday when he told reporters in the Oval Office he would “like to see a deal made for great health care” and that he was “talking to Democrats about it.”
Mere head-faking for weak Democrats to latch onto. Again, whether Democrats vote yes or vote no, Trump is going to keep breaking every deal and screwing everyone he can. The Democrats need to stay the course and let this Republican debacle just keep twisting and twisting.
How about all of President Trump’s wins?

If you’ve had a flight delayed in the past few days, then absolutely. Air Controllers are starting to call out sick. On Sunday the Essential Air Service runs out of cash, so bye bye any flights out of Pierre, Watertown, and Aberdeen.
