Try not to rush out there to sign the Doeden petitions

From today in Rapid City, the only place lonelier than the Toby Doeden fan club convention, is the queue for people to get in line to sign his nominating petitions for Governor.

  1. It would be a crying shame if the candidate voted most unlike human in Aberdeen, SD who thought he could buy his way into the South Dakota Governor’s office was unable to get enough petitions prior to the deadline. That would result in a hilarious major announcement that the televised primary debate for Governor was reduced to three candidates.

    Cue sad trombone: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tKdcjJoXeEY

  2. Hmmmm. Didn’t know you could have a table set up that close to the Pennington County Administration building entrance. Surprised we don’t see Pat’s best friend Jordan Mason out there doing Toby’s dirty work. Good luck with getting the signatures, you’re gonna need it. The clock is ticking…….

  3. I’m sure Toby lost voters in Edmunds County and the region when he purchased Ipswich Lumber and then turns around and closes it with the announcement in Feb. That hits those communities and rural customers hard! Inventory is being liquidated now being heavily discounted. Another empty campaign promise. Another business purchased by Doeden and not long afterwards closed.

“Small towns all across our great state have been forgotten by the powerful and politicians. I am running to be a voice for everyone, not just the powerful few.

As Governor, I will serve each and every community of our state with the same level of commitment and dedication. You can count on it.” Toby Doeden 10/9/2025

    1. When Toby bought that lumber store two of the managers quit on the stop saying they refuse to work for him.

    2. That’s a very Trump-like lie. Make a promise that resonates widely, then do the opposite for your own selfish benefit after you win. He really is like having our own Trump.

      1. Doeden’s campaign FB page and Ipswich Lumber FB page has had comments by very rightfully ticked off Ipswich and Edmunds County area residents!

  4. Doeden bootlicker Drew Dennert went on a tirade last night calling for candidates to drop out so Rhodens legacy is protected and Hansen isnt embarresed because a Johnson Administration would be the end of South Dakota.

Little man…Id STFU until your hero has his petitions turned in…which we will all laugh when that could happen
