Thune Sets the Record Straight on Democrats’ Health Care Spin

That is according to DC John, the man who claims to be working for the common person in South Dakota, the people who elected him, me included. Instead he has chosen to work for the lobbyist, big companies, and the party.
My insurance carrier dropped South Dakota for 2026. My presciption refill for December, which I filled yesterday, doubled plus 15% from the November refill. My new plan will not have have dental or vision but yet increased $200+ a month. Something is not working for the common person in South Dakota that John claims to be working for.
Dear President Trump and Leader Thune,
We’ve been patiently waiting for the “better, cheaper” health plan that has been promised by Republican leaders since the day the ACA was passed in March of 2010. I’ve lost count of how many times that ghostly apparition of a whiz-bang Republican health plan has been claimed to be ready for prime time “in two weeks”. The time has long passed to put up or shut up Senator Thune.
Tick tock.
You have to have enough votes in both the House and Senate to pass anything anymore. You always have Republicans who jump ship and vote with the Democrats, whereas the Democrats stick together.
Obviously that’s not true, or the Democrats would not have been able to filibuster.
I can’t wait to vote these Republican empty suits out on their big fat full billfolds.
Senator Thune is spot on! The facts speak for themselves. Given the chance, Democrats would spend our country into complete insolvency and then point their fingers at hard-working Americans for not paying enough taxes to cover the expenses of their giveaway programs.
