Of South Dakota? Yeah, that’s not a thing.

Today I heard something odd about Sioux Falls Mayor Mike Huether. Although, after you hear this you may gag, and declare him to be “Mike Puker.”

Apparently, on more than one occasion when outside of the Sioux Falla area, he has taken to referring to himself as “Mike Huether, Mayor of South Dakota.” As if that intentional slip was going to pass by unnoticed.

Huether may not be talking yet, but it certainly sounds like someone’s ego is already off & running for the 2016 democrat nomination for governor.

  1. That just cost His Egoness every vote outside of that town that isn’t quite as good as Minneapolis.

  2. He’d be smart to not run. If he does run for higher office he’ll end up another sacrificial lamb from the dems.

  3. Mike may have missed his true calling of being a game show host, but underestimate him at your own peril. He’ll work as hard as anyone on the campaign trail; just ask any of his opponents who were odds-on favorites to knock off the mayor before he won the seat.

  4. Michael Scott… I mean Michael Huether is all about Mike. The man loves attention. It would be great to see him lose an election or be impeached for all of his backroom real estate deals he has going on while mayor.

  5. Mike acts like he is a king he is a true republican .What has he done for the working class. At the airport a sign says thousands of jobs , right like should be changed to low paying jobs,

  6. I have a real problem with his mug appearing on billboards for Sioux Falls; it truly speaks to the ego of the man. Also, if you heard him on Belfrage’s show, he indicated basically that his intent is to embrace Obama’s unconstitutional bathroom directive. If someone aligns with Obama, they can’t be any good.

  7. A political figure talking big? Oh my.. Sound the alarm. The funny thing is that Our Republican presidential nominee certainly is a bigger talker than that, and folks don’t take issue with that…

Has he been quoted by a newspaper saying this? Or caught on camera? Just curious. I’d be interested to know if this is true. Or just hearsay.
