Thune: The Time to Repeal Obamacare Is Now

WASHINGTON — U.S. Sen. John Thune (R-S.D.) today discussed the need to repeal Obamacare and help lift the heavy burden it has placed on the American people.

My insurance tripled and now I received a letter telling me its canceled. Thune is right, Obama and the Democrats are malicious and wrong.
There’s always the exchange.
Government creates a problem, then proposes to fix the problem they created.
Obamacare is not about helping anyone except the already powerful and rich. Its about power and authority.

Quit giving speeches and act. DEFUND!!!!
Defund? Where will Daugaard get his extra funds for Medicaid then? So that he can reduce the indigent burden on the counties. Do you really want to defund the repeal of the Medicard D’s “donut hole,” which would force millions of seniors to pay more for their prescription drugs? Do really want to close down the exchanges which gives millions of Americans access to health insurance?… Really, defund?
Seems like this is another one of those deals that won’t go anywhere because it will be vetoed. Why not craft the new improved bill and pass that? Make Obama veto a better idea. Surely by now everybody on both sides knows what it should be, right?
Some casual observations about Thune’s speech.
1. Can we trust any of his assertions?
2. Can we take unverified information from Obama haters and use that to paint a broad stroke?
3. He is obviously learning from Trump. We’ll replace it with something wonderful. Affordable. Accountable. Patient-focused. Building a better bridge to a better health care system for hard-working Americans. It’s time to give the American people the real health care reform they deserve.
Okay, I think we’re all down with that. But wouldn’t it be great to see one – even one specific idea. If I like it, I’ll support it.

Thune nothing more than a mouth piece.Lets see your bill that will take care of tax paying americans,.Quit grand standing and taking photo ops and get something done. Better yet resign then go to all the basketball games.
I’m a big Thune fan and supporter but I’m tired of speeches and press releases from his office. Mobilize people and get something done.
He’s a great person and senator but no one listens on the senate floor.
You are right that many of the speeches are delivered with no one in the Senate to hear them. I visited Capitol Hill a few years ago and got to listen to a speech given by Harry Reid in the Senate — to an empty chamber. But they give their speeches and get them in the Congressional Record, and most people don’t know that no one hears them!
