  1. I will be voting NO on V!

As this commercial shows, Amendment V seeks to hide information from the voters…The same big money out of state interests that are funding IM 22 seeking TRANSPARENCY in government are pushing V which will give less transparency.

Do we really want to remove the party labels? NO

Especially by changing the state Constitution, which I do not think we should do lightly on any measure. So I always give them a higher level of scrutiny than the IMs.

Then it limits the general election to only 2 candidates….Why are we restricting choices? In 2014 48,000 people voted for Sen Pressler…maybe he runs in the primary and Rick Weiland doesn’t make it….is that fair to Democrats, who then do not have a candidate in the general election? NO…Same goes for Republicans, Libertarians, Constitution or any Independent who wants to run.

I think all parties that have done the work to forma party should have the right to be in the general election.

If the proponents wanted to open up the primaries to anyone, why not just seek to pass that part…the rest is what I have a problem with as I have explained.

V is very bad for SD and i will be voting NO. I urge you to do the same.

    1. I just want to point out a flaw in your argument. . . .

The Vote No on IM 22 is completely funded by out of state money from the Koch brothers. At least a lot of money from the V campaign is from in state donors as the Argus leader pointed out.

  2. Here is a very sad reality:

Roughly 25% of the electorate says they support Hillary and 22% support Trump.

The rest support either support Hillary because they dislike her less than Trump or support Trump because they dislike him less than Clinton.

Think about it: We will have a President with roughly 75% of the electorate opposed to them.

  3. Vote NO on Everything! Except the referred laws. If you must vote yes on something, vote yes on those. Then you can sleep at night.

    Johnson for President.

  4. It is not a horrible spot It uses some of the same techniques that have been tried and proven over time. (yawn) the Black and white pictures, the low voice, the background music, etc.
