Are you familiar with Black Hills Advocate, LLC? Black Hills Advocate is noted as the first company of its kind in the state to provide services to vulnerable adults in the areas of advocacy, guardianship, conservatorship, shared decision making and elder care planning.
Recently, they had to haul Republican District 30 State House Candidate Matthew Monfore to court to help protect a senior who owned the House Monfore was living in. Was.
In May of 2023, BHA had applied for and in June been appointed as the guardian and conservator of the person – a relative I believe – that Monfore had been residing with. June of 2023. And nine months later, Monfore found himself hauled into court to forcibly be dislodged.. because it took that long for him to figure out that someone else was in charge by court order?
According to the Findings of fact, in October, they gave Monfore a 30-day notice to hit the road. But like a lot of squatters nowadays, Monfore actually went to court to try to continue his “rent free” arrangement, and the legal guardians of the home’s owner had to go to court to force him to get out.

It literally took them months to boot out Monfore, after a first order to tell him to move on down the road.
Here’s how it applies to our review of what’s going on – even after the court order on March 11……

But even worse than Monfore saying he lives at someplace he doesn’t, and Black Hills Advocate having to go to court to evict said District 30 rent-free candidate Matthew Monfore are some implications over the care being provided for not just the at-risk adult BHA went to court to assume responsibility for, but the other person in the residence. In the court papers, it’s noted that the other resident is Monfore’s father who the court findings describe as suffering from dementia and unable to care for himself.
With BHA having to step in on one person, it brings up a question whether someone needs to ask some questions about whether the other person is safe and being cared for with dignity. That didn’t escape the court’s attention either:
Right now in the case, the latest action is that there was an order to show cause that was filed yesterday (Case 23CIV24-000005). What was that for? Monfore has actually filed an appeal after being evicted from his rent-free arrangement. The court doesn’t really seem to be going along with it, as it looks like they’ve put the onus on Monfore at this point to put up, or quit trying to weasel his way back into the house he was booted from:

While I didn’t think Monfore’s candidacy was going anywhere to begin with, I don’t think him spending time standing up for his own “squatter rights” are going to endear him to the voters of District 30.
how did this outfit become the guardians of his father and his (partner/wife?)
There have been some horror stories out of Florida and California about these guardianships, with elderly people robbed of everything they own, and their kids not even knowing its happening. .
There is more than one side to this story..
In this case, it appears Black Hills Advocate is the good guy and not allowing this piece of work to exploit an elderly person. sad to say, not all famlies do the right thing in this day and age.

Clearly, the RINOs are feeling threatened.
1. On March 26, 2024 I did indeed live at 27886 W Oral Rd Oral, SD 57766
2. Receipt for Bond [when appeals are filed, $$$ is required to “put down” should any damages occur as a result of the appeal) was Posted on April 11, 2024 – the same day as the Conflict of Interest Statement. Filing the bond was what our attorney told us the judge wanted done.
3. “Rent-free” has to do with the amount of care it has taken to care for the “relative”, who is my Grandmother, who suffers from Dementia, and has been cared for by mother (a 30+ yr Registered Nurse) and myself – not to our benefit, but because it was the right thing to do. Certainly this has not been “free” and my family , including myself, has invested $ thousands of dollars and time into caring for my grandma when many would leave their elderlies to a nursing home to be drugged to death and die…
4. This hole legal issue with Black Hills Advocate [BHA] (owned by a leftist, literal Lesbian) stems from a liberal judge named Judge Connolly who persecuted my Mother and myself when my Mother sued for Guardian and Conservator of my grandma (yes, you read that right) because of my Uncle’s immoral and criminal behavior into 2022. (The Uncle was also recently divorced by his wife because of his gambling and financial woes; and fled Arizona after living there for decades, to come live in a guest house owned by my Mother, which is on my Grandma’s property). The Uncle, Roger Flyte is a Leftist Democrat who wanted to grow Marijuana on my Grandma’s property and was asking for $ thousands of dollars.
5. Roger Flyte assaulted me, Matthew Monfore, on May 7th, 2022. This was because his immoral ways were not tolerated, and were also exposed. You can see the attack, here. [link removed] The Uncle was convicted-down (plead guilty to a lesser charge of disorderly conduct and spent a few days in jail – similar story to your-out-of-control pals, the Ladners)
6. Judge Connolly is a leftist Judge who ruled against Matthew’s Mother on Religious bias. Judge Connolly appointed BHA. This appeal is before the Supreme Court.
7. Matthew’s mother is a Registered Nurse of 30+ years and has cared for my Grandma for c. 30 years as the primary care taker because Grandma had a stroke in the 90’s. Matthew has helped care for his dad, who suffers from a Parkinson-like Disease for 20+ years. Both the Grandma and the Dad have “Dementia”. My Uncles and Grandpa on my Dad’s side are all doctors and are aware of my dad’s condition,
8. BHA is, as noted above, owned by a leftist lesbian, and does not have high standards for morals.
9. BHA has assumed total control over my Grandma and her property (due to liberal Judge Connolly’s Orders, to my Grandma’s detriment).
10. This is being fought in court, as any good family would do.

Vince–There are two elderly , disabled persons in this situation whose health, life and welfare are at risk. Neither you or Mr. Monfore is a “victim” of anything or anyone.
I happen to have extensive knowledge of the situation. They appointed a third party advocate because of the dangers Matthew poses to the elderly parties involved. He is verbally abusive and a far right religious fanatic who forces his religious believes on anyone and everyone including his family. He controls what they watched on TV, read and everything they did. Yes his Uncle did indeed attack him and of course he says watch the video ect. But the video Matthew shows cuts out the begging where he extensively verbally attacks his Uncle calling him horrid things. The uncut version was the video played in court. Matthew has been legally evicted is refusing to leave the residence. He is still currently there. This is ongoing. Meanwhile, his Grandmother is living with his Uncle in order to get her away from him. So he is still residing in HER home and she is not even there. Unfortunately [redacted] and it is covered up by religion to look acceptable. Sadly, help was not given to him when he was younger and you cant help the [redacted] if they don’t want it until they do something dangerous and it’s too late.
