After Toby Doeden got on the computer last night, and started tweeting like Darth Vader how Jon Hansen would be joining him…
\While I don’t know Jon well personally, our teams, along with many of our surrogates, have nothing but the greatest respect for each other.
Together, they have been in constant communication about the best way to integrate these two teams together.
All well intended members of the grassroots movement, including Jon, know that joining forces is the right thing to do.
.. but after posting a couple pictures of a fundraiser to show how many people didn’t show up, the Hansen for Governor campaign took to Facebook to refute the claim about them bending the knee:
Voters deserve more than people obsessed with money or power. They deserve more than people who pretend to be something that they are not in an attempt to manipulate the voters of South Dakota. They deserve more than those that preach unity on the right but do more to sow division amongst fellow conservatives.

I am not backing down–we are not in talks to integrate our campaign with anyone else–and anybody who claims otherwise is not being honest with you.

Does Doody really have such a short memory that he already forgot about editing Hansen out of that Kelo story and asking Kelo to focus on the real candidates? But now he has the “greatest respect” for him? Some true used car salesmen’s tactics right there.
It’s nice to see Hansen stand up to the insidious bully.

We might have to load up the Suburbans and drive up to Aberdeen for Doeden’s next campaign event. If he is offering a free meal, video lottery tokens and free drinks at his Casino again count all of us in. Will we vote for Toby? Heck no! We will have a good time and plenty of laughs at Toby’s expense.

grudznick abides the cartoon of Mr. Hansen overgodding at his minions. Do you have a poster you sell of that? It is a dandy picture.
Being an “outsider” can be appealing. Other times, you just look like you don’t know what you’re doing.
Guess one might want to be hesitant to have a private conversation with Toby.
Rumor is Doeden is going to or has offered large amount of money for Jon to drop out.
It is as if Doeden with that big ego of his thinks he can buy his way into the governors office. He can use that elected office to replicate what his idol Trump and his family are doing now which is increasing their wealth as a result blatant corruption
