This has been an incredibly tight race, which you might chalk up to support from the Home in areas. John Lake had a strong showing in Potter and Faulk counties, Gosch in Walworth & McPherson, Werner had Campbell, Edmunds & Faulk, and so on.
All things being equal, with all candidates putting forth a good effort, I think this more with the counties that identified with their most local candidate, and simply some of those counties had far more population than others.
Glad to see the victors in this race were the ones who campaigned!

This district always has a plethora of very strong candidates. There are no losers here. Just winners.
