  1. Man has long been used to refer to mankind. It is neither male or female. If this passes based solely on semantics, how much money will it cost to upgrade all of our official documents? Money that could be better spent on things that would actually improve lives in the state.

    1. That’s just a ridiculous argument. They keep an electronic copy of the constitution on-line with the SOS as the most current edition. I suspect it will cost under $100 in staff time to ‘find’ and ‘replace.’

      1. There are still many much more important issues to address. I am a woman and sure enough of myself to not be offended by the use of “man” in official documents.

        1. Springer: Do you think this takes away from the other issues. My goodness, we have 6 other issues on the ballot on November 5th. Someone at the Capitol walks out and hangs the flag 1/2 staff when a legislator passes away too. Is that too much for you?

Who said anyone was offended. It is a nice way to show respect for the women who have played a pivotal roll in molding this Country and State.

Why do you care so much about “stopping” this from happening? That is what is weird…..when people stand up against this like it’s some expensive travesty. Silly.

      1. A pomising rising star who lost touch with her district very quickly.

In many ways I thought she was our next congresswoman.

        1. Erin ran against antivax lee qualm beating, killing, the leader of the extremists. Did you think she would change to be an extremist after she got in?

  2. On the list of important things the state must accomplish, this is number 5,432,555. Totally un-needed. Totally stupid.

    1. voters will decide it for themselves. that is, if the vote count isn’t derailed and thrown out by other means.

    1. grudznick respectfully admires most women, including Ms. Springer and even some of those insaner than most, like Ms. Taffy and Ms. Hubbel and Ms. Mulally. Pretty ladies, all.
