After his less-than-stellar performance this last month attacking Senator Rounds and only raising $85 for the South Dakota Republican Party, you would think that Chairman Jim Eschenbaum would be busy out doing something… say, beating the bushes to raise money for the State Republican Party?
Well, according to this facebook post I was just sent, it looks like instead of running the Republican Party, he’s going to be out fronting the Mueller family La Leche League/put a new giant tax on everything meetings:
Now that is a trio that I can easily avoid…the Muellers and Matt Smith would be too much for me to digest.

So, Eschanbama wants to get rid of property taxes? As a county commissioner, he should understand that property tax is what funds county government, pays for schools and covers emergency services. Where does he think that money will come from?
The Daschle Democrats, that took control of the party, are secretly working on implementing a state income tax.
Probably a giant new sales tax. And maybe something grudznick and grudznick’s close personal friend, Lar, can get behind: cut the number of counties in half and then tighten their belts to the point of starvation.

Probably not. They have loaded up the county officers with whack jobs. They will vote to keep him. Sheesh even Lee Qualm is starting to look the better option.

Mike Mueller is a “freedom fighter?” Freedom as demonstrated by his cornering a new mother in an office & blocking the only exit until she agrees to raise her baby the way his wife thinks she should?? Because it takes a village to raise a child?
well one way to cut taxes is to abolish public education and require all children be homeschooled, and eliminate all the county health nurses; all they do is give kids vaccinations anyway.
Fast track to an income tax.
Watching the Muellers and Colorado transplant, Matt Smith, pitch the plan to the Property Tax committee in Rapid was like watching Step-Brothers pitch their plan for “Prestige Worldwide.”

Absolutley, no freedom for anybody. The Muellers are going to delete SDGOP platform plank 3.2 about the role of parents in the care and education of children, and impose their own standards on all families, starting with mandatory breast-feeding, and a ban on childhood vaccinations.
Property taxes are TOO high! We need reform! Landowners cannot continue to support every thing !
People who rent their homes pay property taxes, too. They just don’t know they do.
In fact they usually pay more, as property taxes are higher on non-owner-occupied dwellings. Their landlords pass the cost on to the tenants who don’t know how much of their rent goes to pay taxes. Many renters will even say “I don’t pay property taxes, I rent my home.”
These are often the same people who will say “I don’t pay income taxes, I get a refund every year.”
This is why Herman Cain wrote a book titled “They Think You’re Stupid.”
The same group screaming this is also the same group fighting any kind of new infrastructure being built in SD. Kicking out billions of dollars from the pipeline, trying everything to stop data centers, wind farms, anything. You know a great way to lower property taxes? Have a larger tax base. You know how you get a larger tax base? New infrastructure. This is a problem created by the same people now trying to “solve” it.
