The next GOP fundraiser looks as bad as the golf outing.

Remember the abysmal turnout for the SDGOP Golf outing fundraiser?

Literally, within minutes of bashing Republican Senator Mike Rounds, the South Dakota Republican Party announced their next fundraiser, as sponsored by Lt. Gov Candidate Karla Lems.

I don’t want to say it looks bad.. but this looks bad.

How many people do you think they’ll get to haul their cookies to Mitchell on a Thursday night in July to go see a Christian comic?  (Now, how many under the age of 75?).  In case you’re wondering what you’re in store for..

Maybe I’m wrong, and it’s other people’s cup of tea. But I think this will go as well as the golf outing did. If they’re lucky.

    1. Didn’t the gop have a comic back in the 2000’s who offended everyone with native American jokes? I wasnt there but I thought I read it somewhere. Comics probably arent the best idea.

    2. Responsible Republicans did show up to run in the 2024 primary. Lethargic, sit-on-their-buttocks, apathetic republicans didn’t show up to vote. REAP WHAT YOU SOWED ya lazy, pathetic people.

      No anger here. LOL

  1. I heard Lems went to Hollywood to be a comedian but they told her the Phyllis Diller name was already taken.

  2. No one on the GOP state central committee has had to participate in a fundraiser and it really shows.

    What an embarrassment!

  3. It’s like they are trying to implode the party on purpose. Eschenbaum is a horrible chairman. I wonder if he longs for the Obama years?

  4. There are a few venders that are interested in purchasing booth space at the GOP Fundraiser.

One will be selling “Snake Oil Liniment” that could cure a wide array of pains and lameness, including sciatica, sprains, and even animal bites.

Speed Sullivan’s Panacea A sure cure for natural ills good for man or beast.

    Crystals & essential oils

    Chemtrail booth

    5G head and body shields.

    More to come.

  5. Amateur Hour at the SDGOP. I really wonder if Eschenbaum has any idea how unbelievably ill prepared he is for this job?
He can’t possibly believe he’s doing a good job.
I think he’s an idiot but I’m starting to feel sorry for him.

  6. Fella needs a haircut. Like my good friend Bill used to say before he lost all his gubmint contracts…”Just sayin…”

  7. Fundraising is hard; you have to have contacts and know how to get money from them.
Calling a lot of Republicans “Rinos,” telling them they are no longer welcome in the party, and using party funds to defeat incumbent office-holders in the primary is not the way to get donations from them.

    1. You’re right They hijacked our party and don’t have any idea what they are doing. They want to feel important but don’t hold a candle to the experienced, good Republicans they are lying about and trying to ruin. I long for the days a few years ago when you could trust everyone you met at Republican conventions. We were all on the same side. Now there are so many back stabbers and liars trying to take over just to be in the limelight. They don’t know what they are doing and they are ruining the Republican party so the Dems can take over. And we all know how dangerous that would be! Since they want to take it over, they’d better figure out how to fundraise because they’ve lost a lot of good Republicans that normally supported the party.

      1. 100% agree. It’s truly sad that such a SMALL but LOUD faction of the party THINK they are the ‘wise’ and ‘grassroots’ are simply not that and are ruining the party much akin to the Squad. Actually, exactly like the Squad but opposite ends. I’d like to think they’ll see the light but they seem to have their heels dug in too deep. We now have a life long liberal as the head of the state party and some seem to be swaying toward a never voting BUT self-proclaimed conservative for governor. Wow.
