Borglum for US Senate 2020 Facebook Page up. That logo is somewhat familiar…

The Facebook page for Scyller Borglum for US Senate is up and running in advance of this morning’s announcement for her entrance into the 2020 US Senate Race.

I hate to be a wet blanket, but Borglum’s logo has a bit of familiarity with it. If you’re familiar with the logo of the state and federal Political Action Committee, the SD Rushmore PAC, there’s not a lot of difference. Except instead of stars and bars, the Borglum logo just uses the stars.

The Rushmore PAC has been pretty supportive of her opponent US Senator Mike Rounds, and will probably continue to be active supporting him in 2020, as it notes in it’s most recent post back in January:

Rushmore PAC is coming back, and it will be bigger and better than ever! We need to rebuild ahead of the critical 2020 elections including the re-election of South Dakota’s US Senator Mike Rounds and Congressman Dusty Johnson. Once again, we will have one-third of the US Senate up for election, and the entire US House of Representatives at stake. Democrats and their allies have drawn a target on taking back the Presidency, and we must not waver in our convictions.

Stay tuned for more political stuff this morning!

      1. It depends on the viewpoint; all diversity is not beneficial. Would the diversity of having a communist as a representative be beneficial? I don’t think so.

        1. I agree. Another perspective… bringing third world cultures into America and expecting everyone to coexist. Is this beneficial? I don’t think so and many other people agree. Unfortunately, our men have been so cucked they cower in fear and won’t speak up.

  1. What’s with all her stuff she said about not running for Senate? What a liar.

  2. She is not related to Gutzon Burglum, but she is clearly running on that name. Maybe that is why she recently moved to South Dakota and probably why she didn’t change her name after she got married.

  3. FWIW, Citizens for Liberty has her rated at 29.2% on its Conservative Voter Guide based on 20 votes in 2019.

  4. i’m going to say this as a person who continues to think rounds would be a great senate republican leader, a great v-p choice, and even an adequate president. i have talked to enough republicans who just don’t like rounds that much, that i wonder if rep. borglum won’t do better than people expect in a primary. until now, the only people to run hard against rounds on the republican side have been nutcases and others who have imploded in the home stretch. let’s just see if she implodes or not, if she hasn’t already.

  5. Purely personal opinion: I don’t like the sign-the color of blue used is just off-putting to me. Just personal preference. It also seems very busy.
