District 2 State Senator Steve Kolbeck is hosting a fundraiser on Thursday, December 7th at the Willow Run Golf Clubhouse in Sioux Falls from 4:30 to 6 to support his re-election campaign for the Senate in 2024.

Bright, hard-working, professional and just plain nice. I’m sure opponents and proponents can come up with a few adjectives or their own, but those are some that come to mind when I think of Sen. Steve Kolbeck. He is one of the best of us, and It has been a personal privilege to work with him.
I remember when the GOP was trying to get Lucas Lentsch or Todd Schlekeway to run against Kolbeck as a PUC commissioner. Times sure change. Glad Kolbeck saw the light and came over to the GOP.
I’d enjoy listening to a discussion in Kolbeck’s decision to leave the democratic party. Did they leave him? Obviously a Democrat from pre Obama is not the same as a dem now. Just like a Trump republican is not the same as a Bush republican. Times are a changing.
Steve Kolbeck is a great guy! I have known Steve my entire life. I grew up with his kids and babysat them growing up. He has always been a great friend of our family. He is the person that we want making decisions for our state.
