From Punchbowl News, South Dakota’s Senior US Senator is the most effective leader in Congress, according to those in the opposition:
A majority of senior Democratic staffers on Capitol Hill said Senate Majority Leader John Thune is the most effective congressional leader, according to our latest Canvass survey.
When asked which of the “Big Four” is the most effective, 54% of senior Democratic aides chose Thune. Around a quarter — 27%— said House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, while 13% said Speaker Mike Johnson.
Just 6% of senior Democratic staffers chose Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer.

Pretty impressive 54% of senior dem staffers chose Thune over Schumer. It goes to show how effective he is at getting Trump’s agenda through.

He is a Republican, the President is a Republican. Therefore it is his job to help the President and the Republican agenda through the Senate. Doing less, would make him an ineffective leader. Just because you don’t agree with the agenda doesn’t mean he is ineffective.
Thune is effective. Just look at that fantastic cabinet he seated.
They are good. Helping President Trump fix what Resident Stumbles and DEI pick Kackles broke.
Politics aside, Thune is likable, Schumer is not.
