Today, the below lawsuit was been filed in South Dakota Circuit Court, Sixth Judicial Circuit, Hughes County. This lawsuit challenges the constitutionality of Initiated Measure 22 on numerous grounds.

I’m not a supporter of IM 22 but much of this came about because the legislature didn’t act.
I want an ethics commission in state government and I think most of South Dakota also does.
The legislature did enact a conflicts of interest law in response to Gear Up and EB-5.
I see what happened. The document was uploaded initially without the DWC watermark. It was apparently deleted and replaced with a version containing the watermark.
