That’s one way for a Democrat to exit the race

From Fox News:

A Democratic candidate for the Minnesota House ended his campaign Sunday, hours after he tweeted that the Islamic State group “isn’t necessarily evil” and its members were doing what they thought was best for their community.

Dan Kimmel, 63, announced the end of his bid for office on his campaign website and Twitter account. He said Saturday evening’s tweet was in response to a statement made during a candidate debate, not in response to Friday’s violent attacks in Paris that left more than 120 people dead and more than 350 wounded.

He said his tweet was poorly worded and didn’t convey his intent.

  1. If he is this in-artful with a tweet-which he can read and revise prior to sending out-how much stupidity would flow from his mouth as a legislator? As much as Joe Biden?

    1. At least this Dem had the good sense to bow out.

Joe Biden uses his racist gaffes and family tragedies to promote himself! And other Dems take him seriously.

      1. “Joe Biden uses his racist gaffes and family tragedies to promote himself!”— How about examples?

        1. 2006: “In Delaware, the largest growth of population is Indian Americans, moving from India. You cannot go to a 7-11 or a Dunkin’ Donuts unless you have a slight Indian accent. I’m not joking.”

2007: “I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy,” Biden said”

2001 & 2007: Biden describing the accident to an audience at the University of Delaware and saying the truck driver “stopped to drink instead of drive.”
[there was no indication that the driver was drunk or had been drinking]

2008: Joe tell state Sen. Chuck Graham to “Stand up Chuck!” in a major speech. Chuck is confined to a wheelchair.

2015: Joe Biden was the source for Maureen Dowd’s story on his son’s dying wish that his father run for the presidency.

          Joe Biden is a buffoon.

          1. “Joe Biden was the source for Maureen Dowd’s story on his son’s dying wish that his father run for the presidency.”— What? Biden disputed the made up Dowd story.

Would you like a list of much more meaningful things stated by people you probably voted for and the ones you support? Just one—MISSION ACCOMPLISHED– major combat in Iraq has ended– that was before thousands of Americans were killed and maimed….and you post the childish meaningless above?

            1. Joe Biden did not claim that Dowd “made up” a story.

Joe Biden was the SOLE SOURCE of the Dowd story and never claimed otherwise.

Buffoon Biden simply disputed Dowd’s description of what his “dying son” said.

“Beau all along thought that I should run and could win.”–Joe Biden, 60 Minutes , while disputing Dowd’s version.

I also note that you did not and could dispute the clearly racist statements that Biden made.

The ends to which Biden Believers go to excuse his buffoonery is simply amazing. Even when Biden is the only source for a story about his son’s dying wish for his father to run!

              Talk about childish beliefs!

Or as Buffoon Biden would say in public, “Its a big fu@#in’ deal.”!
